Yesterday, the Stewart Technology team had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Scottish Aerospace Showcase held in the iconic Merchants House of Glasgow.
Set in the heart of Glasgow, the venue provided a striking setting for the event. The Merchants House is a beautifully designed building rich in history and it offered a unique contrast to the cutting edge technologies being showcased throughout the day.
At the showcase, we were proud to present Stewart Technology’s electronics manufacturing services for the aerospace industry, highlighting how we support aerospace and aviation organisations with reliable and high-quality solutions. From early prototyping through to full production, we help bring complex electronics systems to life while meeting strict quality standards.
The Scottish Aerospace Showcase brought together a diverse range of aerospace companies and industry professionals, all focused on driving innovation within the sector. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with peers and discuss how collaboration continues to shape the future of aerospace in Scotland and beyond.
Alongside the exhibition, the event featured an insightful programme of talks and industry discussions. Beginning the morning was a fireside chat, which explored Scotland’s evolving role within local aerospace and the challenges we face as we progress.
The afternoon sessions focused on key industry themes, including workforce resilience and its importance in strengthening aerospace supply chains, as well as the challenges and realities of certifying next generation flight technologies. Further discussions examined Scotland’s global competitiveness in aerospace, the role of trade bodies in the industry and an insight into advanced modelling capabilities and test facilities.
The sessions provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the aerospace and aviation industries, reinforcing the pace of innovation and the importance of collaboration across the sector.
