We are truly honoured and delighted to announce that Stewart Technology has been named Manufacturer of the Year (Under £10m) at the Made in Scotland Awards 2026!
The ceremony took place on Thursday 8th of October at the stunning Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow, bringing together businesses from across the country to celebrate the very best of Scottish manufacturing. It was a fantastic evening and one we’ll remember for a long time.
A Proud Moment for our Team
To be recognised as Manufacturer of the Year is a tremendous honour, especially in such a talented category. For 28 years, our team has worked hard to build a reputation for quality, reliability and care in everything we make. To see that recognised on a national stage means more than we can put into words.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey – our customers, who place their trust in us everyday, our suppliers and partners and above all, our team, whose skill and dedication are behind every product we build. This awards belongs to all of them.
Celebrating Scottish Manufacturing
Events like this are a valuable reminder of the depth of talent, innovation and expertise in manufacturing across Scotland. From advanced technology to heritage industries, the businesses celebrated on the night showed just how much Scotland has to offer and it was a privilege to be part of it.
A Strong Showing for the Scottish Borders
We’re especially proud that half of the nominees in our category came from the Scottish Borders. It’s a clear sign of how much is happening in manufacturing in our region and we’re proud to be part of such a thriving local community of businesses.

It’s an exciting next step and we’re honoured to get to carry the flag for Scottish manufacturing and for the Scottish Borders, on a national stage.
Looking Ahead
This recognition comes at an exciting time for Stewart Technology as we look towards beginning construction on our new factory in Tweedbank. We’re looking forward to building on this success and continuing to deliver high-quality electronics manufacturing for our customers for many years to come.
