We are a UK-based contract electronics manufacturer (CEM) specialising in custom electronics assembly and PCB assembly. We support customers with reliable, high-quality manufacturing services, competitive pricing, experienced staff and excellent customer service.
Where is Stewart Technology Ltd located?
We are based at Tweedside Park, Galashiels in the Scottish Borders. From our facility we support customers across the UK and internationally.
Do you work with customers outside of Scotland?
Yes. We work with customers throughout the UK and can also ship internationally when required
Can I visit your factory?

Yes – we actively encourage it. If you are interested in our PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing services, we would be delighted to welcome you to our factory at Tweedside Park, Galashiels.

We believe face-to-face meetings are invaluable and we enjoy showing customers around our facility, introducing our team and discussing projects in person. A factory visit is a great way to see our capabilities first-hand and understand how we work.

Do you offer PCB assembly services in the UK?
Yes, all our PCB assembly is carried out in the UK by our experienced manufacturing team, ensuring quality, traceability and responsive communication.
Can you support prototype and low-volume builds?
Absolutely. We regularly work with prototypes, new product introductions and low-volume builds, as well as repeat production.
Do you provide box build and final assembly?
Yes. We offer full box build services, including assembly integration, testing and final product assembly.
Do you offer Design for Manufacture (DFM) support?
Yes. We work closely with customers during early design stages to improve manufacturability, quality and cost-effectiveness.

Testing and Inspection

What testing services do you offer?

Do you offer conformal coating?

Yes. We offer conformal coating to protect assemblies from moisture, dust and environmental conditions. We have recently invested in an automated conformal coating machine to advance our capabilities on this.

Delivery and Logistics

Do you offer direct dispatch in the UK?
Yes. We offer direct dispatch across the UK using trusted logistics partners. We can ship directly to you or your customers.
Can you ship internationally?
Yes. We can ship internationally when required.
How are products packaged?
All products are packaged carefully to ensure they arrive safely and in excellent condition. Electronic assemblies are protected using anti-static and ESD-safe packaging to minimise the risk of damage during handling and transport.

Supply Chain and Manufacturing Support

Can you manage component sourcing and supply chain?
Yes. We provide supply chain management, sourcing components through trusted suppliers to reduce risk and improve reliability.
Can customers supply their own materials and components?
Yes. We are flexible and can support several material supply options depending on your preference –

  • Full customer supplied (free-issue) materials
  • Partial customer supply, where some components are free-issued and others are sourced by us
  • Full turnkey supply, where we manage all component sourcing

When customers supply materials or components we take care of them and treat them with the same care and attention as if they were our own. All materials are handled responsibly, stored appropriately and managed within our controlled manufacturing processes.
