Who are we?
Stewart Technology is a privately owned, family-run business and one of the United Kingdom’s leading providers of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS). Founded in 1998, by Managing Director John Robertson, we have built a reputation for reliability, technical expertise and customer-focused solutions.
Based in a 13,000 square foot factory in the scenic Scottish Borders countryside, we combine a positive, collaborative working environment with the advanced capabilities needed to support modern electronics manufacturing. We are currently in the process of expanding and developing a new factory that will double our production capacity, while retaining our original facility.
With over 55 dedicated staff and decades of collective experience, Stewart Technology provides end-to-end solutions – from Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Assembly, to hand assembly, rework, full box build, test and services. Every build is completed with precision, traceability and a focus on quality that meets the demands of today’s technology driven markets.

Stewart Technology operates from a modern manufacturing facility in Tweedbank, in the heart of the Scottish Borders. Our location offers excellent transport links with the tranquility of the rural countryside, offering a peaceful, yet highly capable environment for our manufacturing.
